With so many scenes which they include fighting, running, cursing I can't grasp the tension that it is supposed to exist especially when that events take place. We sometimes get the feeling that she is finally awakening from her haze, but no we are soon disappointed. The main character seems overly nonchalant. I mean she should have to check it, especially if she works for the council, she has access. And we are in a little bit of darkness about her father. I think she also neglects her godly powers although this is the main reason why we all read this book. I would expect her to be more independent. no there is no such a thing.Īlex is a total killjoy. Even at the end when the whole transformation happens, the part that should be, in my opinion, grand. It doesn't rump up the action, it continues in the same pattern as the previous one.
